Mbeelink Global Logistics LLC ("MGL", "we", "us") provides courier, logistics and US package-forwarding services between the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Nigeria. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.
We collect only what we need to run your account and move your packages safely:
Depending on where you are, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the service); your consent (for example, marketing, which you can withdraw at any time); compliance with a legal obligation (customs, tax, anti-fraud, KYC); and our legitimate interests in running a safe, secure service and preventing fraud.
Package forwarding is a frequent target of fraud, so verifying who you are protects both you and us. We hold received packages until your identity is verified and will not release goods to an unverified account.
To verify you we collect a government ID and a selfie, and, for Nigerian customers, your BVN or NIN. We may check these details against official databases through licensed verification providers. Sensitive identifiers (ID number, BVN, NIN) are encrypted and identity documents are stored in restricted, non-public storage accessible only to authorised staff. We use these details only to confirm your identity and prevent fraud, never to debit your account; MGL cannot move money using your BVN or NIN.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that help us deliver the service, each bound to protect it and use it only on our instructions:
Because we operate between the US and Nigeria (and other countries we serve), your data is processed in more than one country. Where data crosses borders we take steps to keep it protected to a standard consistent with this policy and applicable law.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as long as we are legally required to afterwards (for example, customs, tax and anti-fraud records). Verification documents are kept only as long as needed for their purpose and our legal obligations, then securely deleted.
We use encryption for sensitive identifiers, restricted non-public storage for documents, role-based access so staff see only what their job requires, account protections such as login lockouts and single-session controls, and secure, access-controlled hosting. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond quickly if anything goes wrong.
Subject to the laws that apply to you, you may ask us to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your data; object to or restrict certain processing; receive a copy of your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent where we relied on it. Signed-in customers can download their data and request account deletion from their account settings. To make any request, contact us at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and preference cookies to remember your choices. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage them.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date above. Significant changes will be communicated to you.
